NSG Honors the Red, White, and Blue

On Memorial Day 2025 NSG Played at Green Spring Golf Course honoring the Red, White, and Blue by playing the the "Pink Ball" contest using the Taylor Made Tour Response Stripe Ball.  Each team had a Stars and Stripe ball and players in that team rotated, by hole, using the Stripe ball.   If a player in that team lost the Stripe ball, the team was eliminated from the scramble competition.

Only two teams returned with the Stars and Stripe ball safely in hand.  The winning team of Greg Fischer, Rod Hardin, Mike Nakata, and Steve Parker shot a NSG scramble Green Spring record of 60.  They were 8 under par after the front nine with 6 birdies and an eagle.

As per custom, the Parkers hosted a Bloody Mary bar on the third tee.  This time Dave Holl added his Norwegian influence with the "Uffda Spicy Mary Mix" - fortunately, the Marys were not garnished with Lutefisk.
