Green Spring Scramble

 

Winners of the NO-PRIZE Green Spring Scramble at 11 under par:  Jim Thalman. Art Tice, Mike Nakata, Gary Thornton.  Picture was taken on the 18th tee box on a perfect winter's day - February 26, 2024.  The team reported that Gary stuck to the doctor's orders and played only green-side shots (chipping and putting) except for the four booming drives he hit just to "test out" his surgical repair.  Seems to have worked out fine - no pain, no bleeding!

By the way, Congratulations to Swiftie G for his recent Eagle on hole #7 at Dixie Red Hills.  G used a 3 wood to guide his second shot right into the hole for an eagle 2!
