Ric Opheikens Hole-In-One

 Congratulations to Ric Opheikens for his Hole-In-One at Green Spring hole number 15 on July 3, 2023.

Ric said it was a well struck shot that landed on the green, bounced twice and rolled into the cup.  He was so excited that he threw his club into the air and it landed in the middle of the pond.  He can use part of his $2,000 pay out to buy a new club.

103 Year Old Golfer often shoots better than his age

 Lindsay Tise (not related to Art Tice) shoots a golf score better than his age so often that he’s lost count of how many times he’s accomplished the feat. This centenarian was the oldest competitor at the 2022 National Senior Games, and hopes his example will inspire others to compete into their 100s too. 

Our Next Outing Will Be In New Mexico

 

 NSG - Announcing our next outing will be in New Mexico.  This is a One Hole event that may take as long a six hours,  tee box is 7,284 feet above sea level,  plays over 3 miles,  and is all downhill.
