A Message From Steve Parker

 

Gentlemen —
This is to advise you that I have retired/resigned as Coordinator/Scheduler of NSG.  It’s not in response to a major life change, or development of a dread disease or even a fit of pique.  It’s simply that I have been a coordinator/scheduler for 11 years, and enough is enough. 

I want to thank you for the cooperation, patience and understanding you have shown me over the years, and I particularly want to thank you for the expressions of your appreciation of my efforts: I appreciate your appreciation. 

Brent Mugaas has agreed to assume my duties and join Dave Waugh and Mike Nakata as coordinators and schedulers.   I am confident you will continue to show the same cooperation to Dave, Mike and Brent that you have shown me.

I plan to keep on playing with NSG on Mondays, and Bloody Mary Mondays will still be observed at Green Spring.

I have one more official duty before riding off into the sunset:  crown the winner of the Long Putt Tournament of Champions next Monday at Sunbrook.

Black Desert $250, Entrada $240 (as a guest staying at the Entrada Inn), Sand Hollow $200, Copper Rock $150, The Ledges $150, Coral Canyon $120

Here are the usual NSG rates for other courses:

Sky Mountain $69, SunRiver $59, Green Spring $50, Sunbrook $55, Southgate/St. George $46

Longest Putt Championship Playoff

 

The final round - the Tournament of Champions - is on Monday, May 1, at Sunbrook.
The champion will be determined by one putt on one hole.

Only the 12 champions from the 4 preliminary rounds are eligible

Each player will putt from where his approach shot came to rest on the green.
Longest made putt wins.

The King of Putts will be crowned at the19th hole and trophies awarded.
